1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing and using Vetly’s veterinary practice management software and services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you must not use our services.2. Services Provided
Vetly provides comprehensive veterinary practice management solutions including patient records management, appointment scheduling, billing systems, telehealth capabilities, and practice analytics tools for veterinary clinics and animal healthcare providers.3. Service Agreements
Specific service terms, implementation timelines, support levels, training requirements, and payment schedules will be detailed in individual Veterinary Service Agreements. These general Terms and Conditions govern all service usage unless specifically modified by a written agreement.4. Veterinary Practice Responsibilities
Veterinary practices using Vetly services agree to:- Maintain appropriate veterinary practice licenses and registrations
- Obtain necessary client consents for data processing
- Ensure staff training on system usage and data protection
- Comply with South African Veterinary Council regulations
- Implement appropriate clinical governance procedures
5. Healthcare Compliance
Our services are designed to help veterinary practices comply with the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA), South African Veterinary Council standards, and other applicable healthcare regulations. Veterinary practices remain ultimately responsible for their regulatory compliance.6. Intellectual Property
All Vetly software, platforms, documentation, training materials, and proprietary systems remain the intellectual property of Vetly. Veterinary practices receive licenses to use our services as specified in service agreements but do not acquire ownership of the underlying technology.7. Data Protection & Medical Records
Veterinary practices are the Responsible Parties for patient medical records and client data. Vetly acts as an Operator, processing data only on the practice’s instructions. We implement appropriate security measures for protecting sensitive veterinary medical information.8. Payment Terms
Service fees, payment schedules, and billing cycles are specified in individual service agreements. Late payments may result in service suspension. All fees are exclusive of VAT unless otherwise stated.9. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Vetly’s liability is limited to the value of services rendered. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or clinical decision-making outcomes arising from the use of our software.10. Service Availability & Support
We strive for 99.5% service availability and provide technical support during business hours. Emergency support for critical system issues is available as specified in service level agreements.11. Governing Law
These terms are governed by South African law. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the South African courts, with preference for mediation in veterinary industry disputes.12. Contact Information
